The Monday AM Sales Challenge: Be Positive [3/7/16]

It’s easy to lament on losses and negative events. My challenge to you this week is to be positive. Focus on the wins. Focus on what you’ve learned. Focus on decisions you made (and haven’t made!) that turned out to be right.

Here’s a simple strategy…

Grab a blank sheet of paper, and divide it into three (3) columns.

  • Column 1: “3 Things you now know that you didn’t know three months ago.”
  • Column 2: “3 decisions you made that you feed good about, that proved to be the right decision.”
  • Column 3: “3 activities or decisions that you avoided that have since proven to be unimportant looking back three months.”

That’s it. Now grab a coffee or a spot at your favorite place for personal space and fill in your top three, or five, or ten…

Take a moment to celebrate the successes and the progress you’ve made with your company, accounts, customers, product, and life. Believe me, it feels good, and most of all, you deserve it.
