“Fall down seven times, get up eight” – A Startup Selling Lesson from the Trail

“Fall down seven times, get up eight” – A Startup Selling Lesson from the Trail

????In my pacer manual for the ultramarathons I wrote these two things –

1️⃣“After I Superman????‍♂️– I get up, I dust off and I keep moving. Just letting you know now, in case that happens, it’s not unusual and I know how to deal with it. Don’t be surprised.”

2️⃣“My pacers are not allowed to ask me, “How are you doing? Are you okay?”

It’s just like a rule.???? Because the answer is going to be, “I’m not doing well. And I feel like crap.”

BTW – We’re t-minus 3 days until the FinTech Sales Masterclass. Here is the link to the full details and to register: https://salesqualia.com/masterclass/

After running through the mountains ⛰️and through the wilderness, I’m going to be pretty exhausted.

This will be the same with every Startups.

????????You’ve got your plans ahead of you—the work sprint, the sales sprint, or the quarterly forecasts.

Things are going to happen, and you’re going to fall down. You’re going to try a sales experiment with outbound or with hiring a Head of sales, VP of sales, or an SDR.

Sometimes those experiments are not going to work out the way you want them to. But the key that you need to remember is that you’re going to fall down.

⬇️When you fall down seven times, get up eight.⬆️

Lesson from the trail.
