Are you dealing with a buyer vampire?

“If you sense you’re dealing with a buyer vampire, or you’re not sure, here are a few more questions you can use to identify if you’re facing a vampire. 

Question 1: “How Long Has This Been a Problem?”

The reason this is a good question for a buyer vampire is that it will give you a sense of what perspective he or she has on the problem. Does the individual even know how long this has been a problem? 

For example, let’s say that your product is a customer relationship management (CRM) technology. If a prospect tells you, “What we really need is a new CRM for our salespeople.”

If you suspect that this person is a buyer vampire, then this question will unveil whether he knows about the problem, and if a process is in place to evaluate, decide, and implement a new system.”
